- Production Planning & Execution Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer requirements and delivery schedules.Allocate manpower, machines, materials, and other resources effectively.Monitor production progress and take corrective action for delays.Coordinate with stores, purchase, engineering, quality, and other departments.
- Electronics Manufacturing Supervise production of electronic assemblies, PCBs, control panels, wiring harnesses, and other electronic products.Monitor processes such as PCB assembly, soldering, component mounting, testing, inspection, and final assembly.Ensure production activities follow approved drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and process specifications.Identify and resolve production-related technical issues.
- Quality Control Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications.Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects, rework, and rejection rates.Investigate production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.Ensure proper inspection and testing at different stages of production.
- Manpower Management Plan manpower requirements based on production schedules.Assign work to production operators, technicians, and supervisors.Monitor employee productivity and performance.Train employees on production processes, safety, quality, and work instructions.Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Material & Inventory Coordination Coordinate with Stores and Purchase teams to ensure timely availability of components and materials.Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.Ensure proper handling and storage of electronic components.Identify shortages and communicate material requirements in advance.
- Production Cost & Efficiency Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses.Improve manpower and machine utilization.Reduce material wastage, rework, rejection, and downtime.Implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Maintenance & Equipment Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure production equipment is available and functional.Monitor machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of production and testing equipment.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain production records, daily production reports, rejection reports, and downtime records.Prepare regular production performance reports for management.Track key performance indicators such as:Production outputRejection rateRework percentageOn-time delivery
